Since its establishment in 1996, Idila Terzieva has been a pioneering institution in elderly care in Macedonia. Drawing upon five years of expertise gained from nursing homes in Great Britain, Idila-Terzieva embarks on its mission to deliver unparalleled service, prioritizing the well-being and health of its residents while fostering an atmosphere of friendship, joy, and security.

In 2013, the Idila Terzieva home for the elderly proudly unveiled its modernized accommodation facilities, strategically situated 8 kilometers from Skopje’s city centre. Placed within a striking natural landscape, residents are treated to invigorating fresh air and panoramic vistas of the city, complemented by lush greenery and a serene garden complete with a fountain and cozy gazebos.

With a total of 38 rooms and 5 apartments, each carefully outfitted with amenities such as TV receivers, private bathrooms with showers, SOS call systems, cable TV, and Wi-Fi, residents enjoy both comfort and connectivity. Furthermore, communal spaces spanning over 200 square meters offer opportunities for socialization and recreation, including a cozy living area, a dining room with a communal kitchen and fireplace, and various recreational rooms for engaging board games and activities.

The main building of the facility houses essential amenities such as the central kitchen, nursing and caregiver offices, and a welcoming reception area for visitors. Boasting an impressive 1600 square meters of space, the main building ensures efficient and convenient access to essential services and facilities.

Complementing the main structure is an additional smaller building housing practical amenities such as laundry facilities, administrative offices, a hair salon, NGO’s offices and a caregivers licensing school.

Surrounded by nicely landscaped grounds spanning 5000 square meters, the elegant classical-style architecture of the Idila-Terzieva nursing home is further enhanced by its verdant gardens, offering residents a serene retreat.
